This is requirement for the Pump as there may be formatting issues with the data coming from the Pump that would need to be adjusted so as to appear as it does on the Pump display (Legal requirement) It also controls adjustments to the Preauth Command Not sure how the uC will find this data, maybe the Download Command Code.. or it get added to the other data regarding the devices.
