Was curious about something and figured this might be the right place to ask. When you sign up with a forex broker, is the platform you're trading on something they built themselves, or is it usually the same tech running under different branding?
Noticed a lot of brokers look almost identical once you dig past the logo and color scheme same layout, same order panel, same CRM feel. Started reading a bit and it seems like a good number of them are running on a
white label forex trading platform rather than building anything from scratch, which kind of explains it.
Makes me wonder how much of what we see as "different brokers" is actually just the same backend with different branding on top. Does the underlying tech even matter much for us as traders, or is it more about execution, spreads, and support quality regardless of what platform it's built on?
Curious what others think, especially if anyone here has dealt with more than one broker and noticed similarities like this
